KI 2765 Planned Network and IT Service Outage on Saturday, February 15

Please be aware that on Saturday, February 15, there will be interruptions in IT services and some networks between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM due to planned maintenance and updates on several of our systems.

Upgrading our server park will cause short interruptions in our services between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
The network in Realfagbygget will be reconfigured and unavailable from 4:00 PM onwards.
- Important - please note the following:
- In connection with the reconfiguration, there will be an information meeting on Tuesday, February 11.
- For users in the affected floors of the Science Building; restart your computers on Friday morning to apply the network changes.
Due to network work, the following buildings will experience a 15-20 minute network outage:
- 108 – Cultural History
- 134 - Sydneshaugen School
- 203 – Grieg Academy
- 241 - The Academic Quarter
- 309 - Physics

If you plan to use the services during this period, we recommend saving your work frequently. If you experience issues such as your PC freezing or a service being unavailable, we suggest taking a break and trying again later. If you encounter irregularities with your computer, restart it to see if that resolves the issue.
