When you leave your desk it is a good idea to lock your computer so that other people can’t access your data or use your computer to impersonate you.
There are a few ways to lock your Windows based computer. Here are instructions on some of the ways to do it.
· Press W + L
· Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, then choose “Lock”
· Some keyboards have a specific lock button (normally represented by a closed padlock). Simply press this button.
With Windows 10 and 11 you can also set your computer to automatically lock when your phone moves out of range of your computer.
