KI 0150 Why does the journal ask for a username and password?

You are probably outside UiB's network and therefore not recognized as a UiB user. If you are not using on a UiB machine, you must connect via VPN to gain access.

A database or journal should not ask you to log in if everything is ok with the access. Access to most of the resources the University Library subscribes to is IP-based.
