KI 0115 How to install EndNote?

On UiB PCs, the program is installed using Software Center (see KI 2089).

On private computers, you must download and then run an installation program. Installation program can be downloaded from the file store of the Programvare på UiB team.

Before starting the installation, close Word and other Office programs.

When you update the Mac version, you will get this message:

EndNote will make a copy of your library, but it can not be used in older versions of EndNote after this is done.

If you get a message about insecure or blocked app on your Windows PC, do the following:

Click More info.
Click Run anyway.
